Douglas Tallamy is an entomologist, ecologist and conservationist.

He is a professor in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware and has written and co-authored several critically acclaimed books, as well as many research papers.

Tallamy advocates for changes individuals can make in their own yards and in their communities to protect and preserve native species and thus, our planet.

He is the co-founder of the grass-roots initiative:
